Post 10: Muy blogging experience

My expirience of writing a blog has been pretty interesting and full of learning
ive never written a blog before much less in english. I had to admit that at the beginning i didin't understand anything of this and i was afraid of typing nonsense
but after every blog that fear would shrink
a part i liked a lot was the editing and making everything pinkish. besidas using cute gifs
its fun to tell the people thing about me and it helps to blow off steam
also , its really fun to read my classmates blog. especially when we have the same interest or opinion
if feel like my writing has improved a lot . especially my use of connectors and and using verbs in the correct time
the blog was the most fun part of the class and im going to miss it
in the future i would like to improve my pronunciation .i like it but  its one of the most dificult things for me
i would like to do more blogs . a theme that i would like to write about could be , my favorite movies or food. where i would like to travel or
something like that etc.
this experience has helped me to know my classmates more

Post 9: TØP

I really like a lot of bands but i think my favorite band is twenty one pilots, its a 2 members tyler Joseph , the lead singer (he also plays the ukelele , piano and bass) the other member is josh Dun the drummer, (he also plays the thrumpet) The group originated from Columbus Ohio , in 2009.Tyler came up with the name twenty one pilots while he was reading "All My Sons" by Arthur Miller.A play about a men who has to decide if he sells faulty airplane parts for the good of his bussines to support his family or not doing so , eventually he sell the parts wich result on the death of twenty one pilots. the moral dilemma and choosing between the easy of the rigth decision inspired the formation and the name of the band . Other rejected band names were "Bicycle Thief" and "Chill Coat" by the time they have they released 3 albums ; Twenty one pilots, vessel and Blurryface

they don't really have a define style of music. Because of many influences they have and how many instrument they play , the genre of their songs can vary from rap to Reggae or electro pop etc .the lyrics of their songs are typically about tyler insecurities, anxiety, fears or loving the good memories of your closer ones he revealed that the songs are originally poems that he just sings on top of whatever he feels like . i think this is why they have so many different genres beacause of this ,the fans define the band as "schizophrenic rap" i like this band because the meaning behind their lyrics , i can relate to them but i also like the sound of the songs in generali also like the personality of the members...i think that they are really honest about the stuff they talk about and the lyrics in their songs, it reminds me that they are also normal peoplethat struggle with the same problems as everyone My favorite song is "Migraine " the third song in the album "Vessel" i like the lyrics and the style of the song and i can really relate to the lyrics , the first time i hearded it i was feelingpretty bad and the song made me feel better, it remind me that other people feel like that sometimes.

Post 8: A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Hello:
This semester there is no subject that I like. They are all interesting, but I do not enjoy studying them.
Last semester I really liked the anthropology field. The teacher's way of teaching was very funny, he enjoyed the classes even if they were in the morning. But this semester there is no class that I like very much.
Maybe personality psychology, but more than liking it, it was not difficult.
Another subject that I like a little is basic psychological processes. Classes seem like a group therapy, but it is not that I enjoy it; it's just a subject that I do not feel like sleeping.
We have learned interesting topics such as motivations, emotions, etc. Every week we must deliver a hypothesis on a chapter of Reeve's book. That is still good to learn the subject better. The name of the teacher is Juan Wilson, he is a very wise man that tells us about all the paradigms of psychology.
I hope that the next semester there is some subject that I like more and have more motivation to come to the university classes.

Post 7: Marcial Beltrami

I dont think i know enough about psychology to admire someone , however ive had brilliant teachers one in particular is called Marcial Beltrami . He made my semester some much fun

His area of ​​psychology is experimental and neuroscience. The frist semester he was my psychobiology teacher . This was a really entertaining subject i learned a lot about animal behavior especially about papiones . He loved them . It was facinating watching him talk about them , he knew everything about them !

We also did a lot of fun stuff in that class like spying on people and going to the zoo . I think that the thing that i missed about him the most was the alarm that he had on his phone when is time to go on a break , it sounded like the trumpets that play in the army in the morning

I imagined him as a explorer in a safari, with binoculars and a hat . I would like to have a class with him again . He was always smiling and that cheered up my friday morning

Post 6: My Favorite Festivity

My favorite festivity is Christmas. Is celebrated by catholics for the birth of Jesus in Nazareth.

The Mrs. holy spirit left amber to Maria, then it is assumed that the son of god was born.

But the important thing is gifts!! Althought they do not give me so many gifts

The Christmas is celebrated on December 25^th . According to the culture, the one that leaves the gifts to the children is Santa Clauss, He is a fat with a white beard and red clothes and say jo-jo-j.

With my family every time have dinner different foods and after open the gifts of the tree of Christmas. Last year dinner was lemon chicken with potatoes. The Christmas tree every year has different ornaments, Last year had purple ornaments.  I would like this year to be pink. The only thing I do not like about Christmas is the heat. I would like it to be like in the United States and it will snow.

The name of this picture is The kiss is a photography taken by the photograph Alfred Eisenstaedt on 1945.
The place is Time Square, New York, EE.UU. In this photo there is a sailor and a nurse kissing after the end of the second world war. The man don’t know the woman, but his happiness motivate to do it.
I don’t like this photo, but I use because I found it in a ranking of famous photos in internet. Some people think that it is a couple of lovers .This photo is publish in the Life magazine and it was very controversial.The picture express the happiness, the peace, and calm of the end of the world. The people celebrate in the streets, everybody hugs and cry of happiness.The end of the war every time is a reason for celebrate.
I  would like to know what the nurse did after that kiss.

Post 4: My best friend

Hello!
I'm a shy person and i consider myself an introvert because of it. I have a hard time marking friends.
Howeber this year was easier than I expected at the second day i met Javiera who is now my best friend since that day it has been very fun.
We have the same favorite things, for example: Play video games, watching anime, read books. She is very beautiful, her hair is brown, she use glasses red. Her voice is high-pitched and funny.         
I have another best friend named Sergio, I met him on high school but now that I am at the college I can't see him too often however we talk for whatsapp often. He is small, skinny and his hair is brown.
This semester i made a new friend his name is valentina she is extrovert , caring and very cheerful.

Post 3: My precious

Hello!!!
Today I will write about my favorite object technology!
The cell phone is my most precious object technology. It is very practical and easy to use.
My cell phone was a present of my dad for the graduation in 2016. My favorite application is whatsapp because with it I can communicate with my family, boyfriend and friends during the day. I also use my cell phone to study; I write notes of class in the doc in my cell phone and download books. I use my cell phone everyday in the morning, afternoon and night. On the subway I listen to music with my cell phone.
My life would be more difficult without my cell phone but I could get it.
I also use other applications like the camera, spotify, instagram, facebook, google drive and youtube.
Youtube is my second favorite application. I love watching musical videos.

                                   

                   

Post 2: My dream

Hi!

When I was very young I wanted to be an art teacher, since I liked to painting and coloring every object and surfaces that I found. But this dream was unrealistic with my situation and I could not continue with it. the years went by and no career could be as enjoyable as teaching art. When I finished high school I had to decide what career I was going to study at university. Finally I took the exam to enter the university and seeing among the lists of so many career in the end I decided to go for psychology. The idea didn't displease me and there was nothing wrong with it, so that's how I made the decision.

Hi! This is my first post, the previous post was a joke 😂. My name is Piera Cortés I am 18 years old. I was born in Los Andes. I am studying Psychology in the Universidad de Chile at the moment. I did my elementary studies in Valparaíso in the María Auxiliadora school. I did the secondary school in Colina in the Desirée school and I did the high school also Colina in the Desirée school.
My family is my dad Jaime, my mom Maritza, my sister Lissette and my brother Jaime. I have a dead brother, his name was Sebastián. My mom does not work, my dad is a boss in a company, my brother is a student in Instituto Nacional school and my sister is a saleswoman.
My hobbies are drawing, painting, playing the viola, playing the piano, reading and watching movies.
In my opinion my life is boring enough 😔 however I accept it.

Hi, my name is Piera Cortés. I'm studying psychology and I don't like English because in school the teacher shouted at me :'(
I listen to music in English every day :) but I don't watch movies in English often. For me the most difficult aspect of English is the pronunciation and grammar.
My plan to overcome my problems in English will be reading books in English and I will practice in the class.
